Watford installation of an advanced automatic sliding gate

Sprint Door Systems Ltd has successfully completed the installation of an advanced automatic sliding gate for a client in Watford, significantly enhancing the security and accessibility of their premises. This state-of-the-art gate, measuring 6850 mm in width and 2400 mm in height, features a cantilever design that ensures smooth sliding action without the need for a ground track, facilitating efficient traffic management. It includes high-security features such as dual-height safety photocells, live-monitored safety edges, and a flashing warning light, all compliant with BS/EN 12453 safety standards. Additionally, optional spikes and emergency safety measures like a dead man key switch and an emergency stop button enhance the gate's security features. Extensive groundwork was required for this project, including plant operations and mechanical and electrical installations, ensuring that the gate operates flawlessly.
